Eight-division boxing world champion Manny Pacquiao began his July with his 68th professional boxing match, a controversial unanimous decision loss to Australian Jeff Horn in Brisbane, Australia.
68 professional boxing contests is a lot of mileage, especially for someone who began fighting professionally when he was just 16 years old.
Now at 38 years old and coming off his second loss in his last five fights, the question of retirement once again surfaces.
Should Manny Pacquiao, finally, hang 'em up?
Manny's wife Jinkee has gone on record saying that he'd like to finally see the boxing legend call it a career, and people on social media have echoed the same sentiments, albeit with differing reasons.
In the end however, it's still going to be Manny's decision, and gathering from his most recent Instagram post, it doesn't seem like he's retiring soon.
"I love this sport and until the passion is gone, I will continue to fight for God, my family, my fans and my country." Pacquiao's post read.
Simple, yet strong. Manny isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
The next question now is, what does he do next, in terms of boxing? Does he challenge Horn for the WBO welterweight title? Does he go after another up-and-coming star? Or do fans finally get to see Pacquiao vs. Mayweather 2?
Only time will tell.
