After seemingly calling UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor out and then saying that it was just a simple holiday greeting, eight-division boxing world champion and all-around Filipino celebrity Manny Pacquiao says that a match with the uber-popular Irishman isn't outside the realm of possibility.
Talking to ABS-CBN's Dyan Castillejo, Pacquiao says that a #MannyMac megafight could be a possibility for 2018.
When asked what he thought of McGregor as a boxer, the future boxing hall-of-famer had a simple, yet interesting answer.
Pacquiao is coming off a controversial WBO welterweight title loss to Jeff Horn back in July.
McGregor on the other hand, is coming off a loss against Floyd Mayweather Junior in the Irishman's professional boxing debut, in what was arguably the most talked-about boxing match of the year.
If a Manny-McGregor match does push through, will it be as talked about as the Mayweather-McGregor bout?
