With just a little over two weeks left before fight night, reigning and defending IBF Flyweight world champion Donnie ‘Ahas’ Nietes is in the peak stage of training camp for his title defense against Argentina’s Juan Carlos Reveco.
The ALA Promotions star has been training in the United States, specifically at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, California, for a couple of weeks now, and it looks like he’s in tip-top shape.
Here’s the 35-year old Nietes, who only saw action once in 2017, looking pretty sharp on the mitts with ALA coach Edmund Villamor.
Nietes and Reveco will face off on HBO Boxing After Dark and 360 Promotions’ Superfly 2 card on February 24th at The Forum in Los Angeles, which will also feature Fil-American Brian 'The Hawaiian Punch' Viloria battling for the vacant WBA Flyweight world title against Ukraine's Artem Dalakian.
It will be Nietes’ first defense of his IBF title.
