Nietes, Viloria make weight for upcoming title bouts

Both Donnie Nietes and Brian Viloria successfully made weight ahead of their respective title bouts on Saturday's Superfly 2 card at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.
Nietes, who'll be making his first defense of the IBF Flyweight world championship, came in at 111.6-pounds, while his challenger, Juan Carlos Reveco of Argentina, initially came in at .2-pounds over the 112-pound limit, but managed to make the needed weight an hour later.
Meanwhile, Viloria and his opponent Artem Dalakian of Ukraine had no trouble making weight, as both contenders tipped the scales at 111.4-pounds. Viloria and Dalakian will be battling for the vacant WBA Flyweight world championship.
A third Filipino also made weight for a title fight, as Fil-Australian WBO Female Light Flyweight World Champion Louisa Hawton came in at 107.2-pounds, while her opponent Anahi Torres came it a the 108-pound limit. Hawton and Torres will be fighting for the vacant WBC International Light Flyweight championship.
