After revealing where he'll be fighting next, eight-division boxing world champion Manny Pacquiao has also reportedly chosen when and who he'll be fighting.
News has surfaced that Pacquiao will be taking on reigning WBA Welterweight World Champion Lucas Mathysse in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this coming June 24th.
After it was confirmed by Top Rank Boxing CEO Bob Arum that Pacquiao wouldn't be fighting on the April 14th card in Las Vegas headlined by a WBO Welterweight world title bout between Jeff Horn and Terence Crawford, the boxer-turned-senator himself announced that his next bout will be held in Malaysia.
Pacquiao,39, is coming off lengthy layoff following his WBO title loss to Jeff Horn in Australia last July.
Mathysse on the other hand, is coming off a dominant stoppage win over Tewa Kiram for the vacant WBA welterweight world title just this past January.
The official fight announcement is expected to be made later this month.
