ALA Boxing Gym’s boxing brothers Albert Pagara and Jason Pagara make their return to the ring when Pinoy Pride 44 hits Maasin, Southern Leyte this coming June.

Main eventing Pinoy Pride’s 2018 debut will be the hard-hitting “Prince” Albert Pagara as he comes back home to his birthplace to take on Ghana’s Laryea Gabriel Odoi.

The 24-year old Pagara (29-1, 20 KO) is currently riding a three-fight winning streak with back-to-back victories via KO, and is looking to get back to his dominant form as he tries to climb back up the Super Bantamweight division.

"Prince" Albert is coming off a two-round destruction of Tanzanian Mohammed Kambuluta at Pinoy Pride 43 in Bohol back in November of 2017.

Standing in Pagara’s way is 27-year old Odoi, who has an impressive 20-3-2 professional record, with 14 wins coming via KO or TKO. The Accra native is also on a four-fight winning streak of his own, with all but one coming via TKO.

In the co-main event, up-and-coming super bantamweight star Jeo ‘Santino’ Santisima, also from the ALA Boxing Gym stable, meets Thailand’s Yodsingdaeng Jor Chaijinda for the vacant WBO Oriental Super Bantamweight Championship.

The 21-year old Santisima (15-2, 13 KO) is one of ALA Boxing’s most highly-touted young stars and is primed to rise even higher in the rankings as he goes for his staggering fourtheenth-straight victory.

Looking to snap that streak will be Thailand’s Jor Chaijinda, who will be looking to bounce back after his unanimous decision loss to Juan Miguel Elorde back in Feburary. Prior to his loss to Elorde, Chaijinda was riding an impressive ten-fight winning streak.

Also on the card will be the older Pagara brother, Jason, as he also tries to bounce back after his devastating loss in Japan back in December.

“El Niño” (40-3-1, 25 KO) will be facing Indonesian Geisler AP (12-10-1, 9 KO).

ALA Boxing star 108-pounder Melvin Jerusalem is also expected to be on the card.

Pinoy Pride 44 will take place in Maasin, Southern Leyte on Saturday, June 9th.
