With retired boxing star Floyd Mayweather Jr. arriving in Manila early Tuesday morning, it was inevitable that one age-old question would come up.

Would you fight Manny Pacquiao again?

The unbeaten former champion's response appears to have closed the book on the PacMay saga once and for all.

"I'm an old man now, so there's no more fighting for Floyd Mayweather,"

Now, he's looking to keep an eye out on Filipino talent that he could sign to his own Mayweather Promotions outfit.

"I would love to sign some up and coming talent, up and coming Filipino fighters, I would love to work with them, myself and Mayweather Promotions."

Mayweather Jr. and Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao fought back in 2015 in one of the most highly-anticipated matchups in boxing history. At the time, Mayweather Jr. and Pacquiao were arguably on the top of the pound-for-pound rankings.

Mayweather ultimately won the bout via decision and fought two more times to retire with an unbeaten 50-0 professional boxing record.

Pacquiao on the other hand, has kept fighting since, beating Timothy Bradley before briefly retiring, and then coming back to defeat Jessie Vargas for the WBO Welterweight world championship.

In his last outing, Pacquiao lost his title to Jeff Horn in a controversial decision in Australia.

"Me and Manny Pacquiao had a hell of a fight when we did fight. Good fight, he's a hell of a fighter, hell of a guy, and a great person." Mayweather Jr. said of their 2015 encounter.

'Money' did say however, that he'd like to catch up with his former rival if given the chance.

"Hopefully we can sit down and meet, and probably have lunch or dinner, just see how everything's been going with Manny and his team."

Currently, Pacquiao is in the thick of things in training camp for his upcoming title bout against Lucas Mathysse in Kuala Lumpur this coming July, so time will tell if the two boxing icons do get to cross paths.
