Boxing: Albert Pagara, Laryea Odoi make weight for Pinoy Pride 44

The stage is set for an exciting night of boxing action in Maasin, as almost all fighters made weight for ALA Promotions’ Pinoy Pride 44: Laban sa Leyte.
In the main event, Maasin’s own “Prince” Albert Pagara came in at 122-pounds, while Ghanaian opponent Laryea Gabriel Odoi tipped the scales at 120-pounds.
Pagara and Odoi will battle for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental Super Bantamweight Championship.
In the co-main event of the evening, up-and-coming super bantamweight prospect Jeo Santisima weighed in at 121-pounds, while Thailand’s Likit Chan-e came in at 120-pounds.
Santisima and Chan-e meet for the vacant WBO Oriental Super Bantamweight Championship.
Jason Pagara was the only one who failed to make weight for his scheduled welterweight contest, coming in at 159-pounds, twelve pounds over the 147-pound limit. His opponent, Wellem Reyk of Indonesia, weighed in at 147-pounds.
