Born in Bacolod, Ortizo is based in Orange County, California and has been fighting professionally since 2012, with an impressive 12-1-1 record with half of his wins coming via knockout.
After a brief hiatus in 2017, Ortizo returned to form in 2018, with his loss to Lopez being his ninth bout this year alone.
Ortizo was tapped as one of Pacquiao’s sparring partners during the Filipino boxing icon’s training camp in preparation for his bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. back in 2015.
