Melindo, 30, will be making his return to the ring following a unanimous decision loss to Ryoichi Taguchi for the IBF and WBA Light Flyweight World Championships back in December of 2017.
The ALA Promotions star will be looking to capture his second world title.
The unbeaten Shiro, 26, captured the WBC's 108-pound title back in 2017 with a majority decision win over former champion Ganigan Lopez.
The Kyoto native has since defended the title twice.
Melindo and Shiro are set to square off on Sunday, October 7th.
