Manny Pacquiao officially joins Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions

After weeks of rumours and speculation, eight-division boxing world champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao officially announced his move to join Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions promotion earlier this week.
Pacquiao, 39, is the reigning WBA (Regular) Welterwieght World Champion.
"I'm very excited about this new chapter in my career and I'm looking forward to a fresh start. I'm reinvigorated by the prospects of bringing up new fighters under the MP Promotions banner,'' Pacquiao said via the PBC website.
Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KO) also revealed that he be working with Haymon and PBC unitl the end of his professional boxing career.
"My team will work closely with Al Haymon for the remainder of my career to deliver the most anticipated fights with the top PBC fighters. Those are the fights the fans want to see and the ones I want to have to close out my career.''
The Filipino boxing icon, who is coming off a seventh-round TKO victory over Argentinian Lucas Matthysse is reportedly eyeing a return to the ring in the United States in early 2019, with fellow PBC fighter Adrien "The Problem" Broner being eyed as a potential opponent.
The 29-year old Broner (33-3-1, 24 KO) is a four-division world champion himself.
Pacquiao hopes that a good performance against Broner would set up a highly-anticipated rematch between himself and former rival Floyd "Money' Mayweather Jr.
