After just one fight apart, it looks like Manny Pacquiao and Freddie Roach will be working together once again.
After Pacquiao and Roach touched base for the first time since Pacquiao's 2017 loss to Jeff Horn in Australia, the famed boxing trainer has confirmed that he will be in the eight-division champion's corner when he takes on Adrien Broner in 2019.
"Manny reached out directly. We sat together one on one. I’ll be in his corner Jan 19.” read an Instagram post from Roach with a photo of Pacquiao.
Pacquiao won the WBA (regular) Welterweight World Championship with a TKO win over Lucas Mattyhsse in July of 2018 without the services of Roach.
On January 19th, Pacquiao will be defending his title against Broner, but this time he'll have his long-time mentor in his corner.
