ALA Boxing's stars return to the Pinoy Pride stage
ALA Boxing's stars are primed to take center stage as Jeo "Santino" Santisima, "Prince" Albert Pagara, and Kevin Jake "KJ" Cataraja find themselves on the marquee of Pinoy Pride 45: Quest For Greatness which happens on Saturday, November 24th at the IEC Convention Center in Cebu City.
In the main event, Aroroy, Masbate's Santisima (16-2, 14 KO) puts his WBO Oriental Super Bantamweight Championship against his first Mexican test in Victor Uriel "Yuca" Lopez Juarez (13-6-1, 6 KO)
Already one of ALA Boxing's most highly-touted up-and-comers, the 22-year old Santisima is hoping to follow in the footsteps of proven stars such world champions Donnie Nietes and Milan Melindo.
With 14 knockouts to his name, Santisima has been victorious in his last fourteen fights and finally gets a well-deserved step up in competition.
The winner of six of his last seven bouts, Mexico City's Lopez looks to come into Santisima's turf and dethrone the WBO Oriental Super Bantamweight titleholder.
In the co-main attraction, the hard-hitting Pagara of Maasin, Southern Leyte (30-1, 21 KO) defends his WBO Inter-Continental Super Bantamweight Championship against Ghanaian knockout artist George Krampah (14-3, 12 KO).
The 24-year old Pagara, currently riding a four-fight winning streak, looks to continue his way back up to the top-tier of the division and keep the WBO Inter-Continental crown firmly fastened around his waist.
Accra, Ghana's Krampah made a successful return to boxing in 2018 following a near-three year hiatus, and will look to keep his momentum going against a Filipino crowd favorite in Pagara.
In a featured super flyweight contest, undefeated Cebuano rising star Cataraja (8-0, 7 KO) gets his first shot at a championship when he battles Mexico's Victor Hugo "Scarface" Reyes (9-1-1, 7 KO) for the WBO Youth Super Flyweight Championship.
Coming from an extraordinary amateur career with over 200 fights to his name, Cataraja has transitioned well into the pros, and his undefeated record is proof. Now, the 23-year old gets his first shot at gold.
Victorious in eight of his last nine bouts, Tijuana's Reyes also gets his first opportunity to fight for a championship as he hopes to be the one to end Cataraja's unbeaten run.
Also on the card, a pair of former world title contenders look to work their way back up, as former WBO Bantamweight World Championship contender "King" Arthur Villanueva meets Carlo Demecillo in a ten-round contest, while former IBF Super Flyweight World Championship contender Jonas "Zorro" Sultan makes his return to action against Ardin Diale in a ten-round affair.
