Manny Pacquiao will be at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California for Filipino Heritage Night
Eight-division boxing world champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao will be a special guest at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California when the Los Angeles Clippers celebrates Filipino Heritage Night for their home game against the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday, January 8th (January 9th, Manila time).
Pacquiao will be joined by Filipino-American international recording artist Allan Pineda Lindo, better known as apl.de.ap from the hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas.
The little celebration of Filipino heritage is surely a welcome distraction for Pacquiao, who's deep in training camp for his upcoming WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Championship defense against Adrien Broner on January 19th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pacquiao has been in the United States since late December, as he's back training at the Wild Card Gym alongside long-time trainer and now consultant Freddie Roach.
