"We’re so blessed by God kasi iilan lang yung boxer na umabot ng 40 and ganito pa din ka-liksi gumalaw," - Manny Pacquiao
It didn't take long for Manny Pacquiao to get work in as he arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The eight-division boxing world champion and reigning WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Champion immediately resumed training, less than a day after he and his entourage touched down at the boxing capital of the world, just days ahead of his world title defense against Adrien Broner.

It was a light day in the gym for the 40-year old, doing some shadow boxing and hitting the mitts, as training usually tapers down as the fight nears.
In an interview with ABS-CBN's Dyan Castillejo after the workout, Pacquiao said that he was ready to go.
"It’s all set, I’m ready for the fight, nothing to worry about," said the Filipino boxing icon.
With regards to his opponent, Manny says that it's all about utilizing what was worked on in training.
"Kung ano yung style niya, napag-handaan na natin, yung focus and then kailangan wag kalimutan yung ginawa sa training."
At 40 years old, Pacquiao is definitely on the older side, especially in boxing. But as can be seen in his training, it doesn't seem like he's lost too much oomph in his hands and pep in his step, which he says is nothing short of a blessing.
"Yes, I feel that [I punch harder], andiyan pa yung lakas natin and yung footwork nandiyan parin, bihira lang yung ganito. We’re so blessed by God kasi iilan lang yung boxer na umabot ng 40 and ganito pa din ka-liksi gumalaw," Pacquiao shared.
In Broner, Pacquiao will be facing a man who's eleven years his junior.
The two square off at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday, January 19th (January 20th, Manila time).
