Once again, Manny Pacquiao was dominant in victory as he shut down Adrien Broner for 12 rounds to remain the WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Champion in Las Vegas, Nevada, Saturday evening.
In his return to the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Pacquiao sold the iconic stadium out, attracting 13,025 people, with of course a number of boxing personalites on hand to see the fight go down.
Here's what some of them had to say about Pacquiao's masterful title win over Broner.
Boxing legend Roy Jones Jr.
"I thought he looked pretty good, I love seeing him fight....[I was suprised with the stamina] more than the power. He's always had power, it's the stamina I'm surprised with."
IBF Super Flyweight World Champion Jerwin Ancajas
"Sobrang saya ko na nakita ko yung laban ni Sir Manny ngayon. Siya pa din yung Manny na dati, yung lakas niya, kaya si Broner takbo ng takbo na lang."
Veteran Boxing Journalist Kevin Iole
"I picked Pacquiao to win, I picked him to win via knockout. I didn't think Broner put much effort, and he never landed more than seven punches in a round"
