Eight-division boxing world champion and reigning WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao was greeted by former rival Floyd "Money" Mayweather backstage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada prior to his title defense against Adrien Broner, Saturday evening (Sunday morning, Manila time).

Mayweather Jr. approached the Filipino boxing icon as he was warming up and making last-minute preparations before his in-ring return in Las Vegas.

The two shared the ring back in May of 2015, with Mayweather emerging victorious via unanimous decision after 12 rounds.

According to rumblings however, it may not be the last time that the two mix it up inside the boxing ring.

Rumour has it that if Pacquiao can get past Broner, it could set up a possible rematch with "Money" later this year.

Mayweather, a five-division world champion with an unparalleled 50-0 professional record, officially retired from boxing in 2015, but came back in 2017 for a mega-money fight against UFC superstar Conor McGregor, which he won via TKO in the tenth round.

The 41-year old Mayweather is coming off a one-round destruction of Japanese kickboxing star Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition match in Japan back in New Year's Eve.
