In his boxing return to the United States, Manny Pacquiao once again shone bright, as he outclassed Adrien Broner to retain the WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Championship. 

It was another fantastic performance for the Filipino boxing icon who continues to defy age, outperforming a tough challenger in Broner for twelve rounds. 

Let's go by the numbers behind Pacquiao's successful title defense:



Manny Pacquiao's age when he entered the ring. Pacquiao turned 40 back in December 17th.



Adrien Broner's age when he entered the ring against Pacquiao. Broner won't turn 30 until July. 



Manny Pacquiao has successfully defended a world title 15 times in his storied career. This was his first run and defense as a WBA champion. 



Manny Pacquiao's professional boxing record consists of 70 bouts...



...of those 70 bouts, 61 are victories, to go with seven losses and a couple of draws. 



Manny Pacquiao was clearly the more aggressive fighter tonight, landing a whoppng 112 punches out of 568 thrown. 30 of those landed were jabs, 82 were power punches. 



A stark contrast was Adrien Broner's punch count. The American landed just 50 punches from 295 thrown. Eleven were jabs, and 39 were power punches.

Manny Pacquiao's return to the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas produced a sell-out crowd of 13,025 people in attendance.
