The 4th of July, Independence Day in the United States, is usually a time for rest, relaxation, and celebration for most.

For eight-division boxing champion and reigning WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Champion Manny Pacquiao however, it was just another day in the office.

Pacquiao is currently in the United States, training for his upcoming title fight against Keith "One Time" Thurman in about two weeks' time at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pacquiao will be challenging for Thurman's WBA (Super) Welterweight World Championship on Saturday, July 20th in the United States (Sunday, July 21st, Manila time).

While Pacquiao could have easily taken a day off and join in on the festivities, the 40-year old Pinoy boxing legend instead put on some fireworks of his own as he cracked the mitts for ten rounds with long-time coach and legendary boxing trainer Fredde Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles. Pacquiao's sparring partners were given the day off to celebrate with their families.

And while it was all business for Pacquiao during training, he was still in a festive mood as was able to do some celebrating in his own little way afterwards.

Even more impressive is that Pacquiao was able to carry on with his training, even after a 6.4-magnitude earthquake had hit Southern California, leaving many of the residents...shook.

The boxer-slash-senator however, was unfazed as he went on with is training session, as he shared with ABS-CBN's Steve Angeles.
