Filipino boxing icon Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and undefeated American Keith "One Time" Thurman faced off one last time before fight night during the final pre-fight press conference at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada, Wednesday evening (Thursday morning, Manila time).

Pacquiao, the eight-division boxing world champion and reigning WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Champion will look to add another title to his already-impressive list of accolades when he challenges long-time champion Thurman for the WBA (Super) Welterweight World Championship at the MGM Grand Garden Arena this coming Saturday, July 20th (Sunday, July 2st, Manila time).

With the time for talking nearly over, Pacquiao and Thurman gave their final statements before the big dance.

While he has indeed been relentless in his trash talking, Thurman also been nothing but appreciative of the opportunity to be on this stage, the biggest he's ever been on.

It’s been tremendous thus far, and the experience isn’t over. I’m looking forward to the fight, I’m looking forward to the final moment my when my hand is raised. It’s been a build-up, it’s been a progression my whole career, being an undefeated champion. I remember when I struggled as an interim champion, and then I first had the Regular title, WBA, the one that Manny holds now," he shared. "Now I’m a Super champion, fighting a legend back here at the MGM Grand, beautiful arena, Las Vegas, I mean, it’s just a beautiful time, a beautiful moment in boxing, and I’m happy to be here."

Pacquiao, for the most part, has kept quiet even with all the smack that Thurman has sent his way, and maintains that he isn't taking any of this personally.

"For me, nothing is personal. I have to do my job and I have nothing personal with him, but in our job as fighters, you have to prove something, I have to prove something, and that’s why I am so motivated for this fight. For this training camp, we did a lot, so I’m excited for Saturday."

The boxer-slash-senator added that he's hungry to prove that even at 40, he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level.

"[I want to prove] everything. It’s big question mark for the fans, in the mind of the fans, especially at age 40."
