Reigning IBF Super Flyweight World Champion Jerwin "Pretty Boy" Ancajas' schedule world title defense against Mexico's Jonathan Javier Rodriguez has been cancelled, with just a couple of days to go before fight night.
Top Rank boxing announced Friday morning Manila time that Rodriguez was forced to pull out of the bout due to visa issues.
The title defense would have been Ancajas' eighth.

The Ancajas-Rodriguez bout was scheduled to be the co-main event of a Top Rank Boxing card at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, Saturday evening (Sunday morning, Manila time). The main event, a WBC Super Featherweight World Championship bout between defending titleholder Miguel Berchelt and challenger Jason Sosa, is expected to go on.
Moving up to the co-main event spot will be at 10-round super lightweight bout between Javier Molina and Hiroki Okada.
