Reigning IBF Super Flyweight World Champion Jerwin “Pretty Boy” Ancajas of the Philippines needed just six rounds to dispose of Chilean challenger Miguel Gonzales, winning via TKO to retain his title in Puebla City, Mexico, Sunday morning Manila time.

Agains Gonzales, Ancajas - who was scheduled to defend his title back in November but the fight eas scrapped due to his challenger's visa issues- showed that he was simply the better fighter.

The reigning champion was aggressive from the get-go and punished his challenger with shots to the head and body.

In the sixth round, Ancajas began to light Gonzales up, targeting the Chilean with vicious hooks, leading to an eventual stoppage at the 1:53 mark of the round.

It was Ancajas’ eighth successful defense of the IBF’s 115-pound title as the 27-year old Davaoeño improves to 31-1-2 in his career with 21 wins coming via KO or TKO.
