Former two-division UFC world champion and Irish mixed martial arts star Conor "The Notorious" McGregor appears to be once again fanning the flames of a potential superfight against eight-division Filipino boxing world champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.
Saturday morning, Manila time, McGregor tweeted out "Tinatanggap ko", a Filipino phrase that, when translated into english, means "I accept."

This comes just a day after he tweeted the english version of the phrase, which many believed to be directed at surging UFC welterweight Khazmat Chimaev. The undefeated Swedish prospect made history in July after winning back-to-back bouts in just a matter of 10 days.
He would later begin calling McGregor out on social media.

While many believed that McGregor was indeed responding to Chimaev, veteran MMA journalist Ariel Helwani says he spoke to the man himself and confirmed that it wasn't about the rising UFC star.
Spoke to @TheNotoriousMMA briefly today. He confirmed that his 'I accept' tweet was not about Khamzat Chimaev, despite what was said earlier today. He declined to further elaborate what it was actually referring to, though.— Ariel Helwani (@arielhelwani) July 31, 2020
Pacquiao and McGregor are no strangers to posting mysterious tweets.
