MANILA — The Philippines has secured its first medal for ESports in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.

Sibol’s Caviar “EnDerr” Acampado is through to the Grand Finals of StarCraft II, making sure he will walk away with at least a silver medal for Team Philippines.

“EnDerr” beat Vietnam’s “MeomaikA” in the Upper Bracket Finals Friday at the Filoil Flying V Center, 3-2, in order to advance.

It was Acampado’s 6th straight win as he finished Thursday’s group matches with a clean 5-0 mark.

“EnDerr” will take on “Blysk” from Singapore in the gold medal game set for Dec. 10.

“Blysk” won three straight matches in the Lower Bracket, including a 3-1 victory over “MeomaikA” to set the final showdown against Acampado.
