A longer and more exciting tournament beckons as the UAAP Season 77 Football tournament kicks off on November 29, 2014. This year, the Menís division will have a complete lineup of teams as Adamson University is set to compete on the pitch. Adamson was the only school without a team in the Menís division last year. It was a historic 76th season for Far Eastern University as all three of their teams in the Menís, Womenís and Boys division won championships. This was the first time in the history of the league that a school won all championships in those three divisions. On November 29, the first match of the season will take place at 4:00 P.M. at the Ateneo de Manila University campus as the University of the Philippines takes on De La Salle University. At 6:00 P.M. on the same day, Ateneo looks to work their magic inside their own campus as they host the University of the East. The following day, November 30, 2014, the Menís division action continues at the FEU-Diliman campus at 1:00 P.M. when National University battles the debuting Adamson University. Following that contest, the University of Sto. Tomas plays the home team, FEU. As for the Womenís division, the first match of the season will also happen on November 30, at Ateneo as the Lady Eagles kick off their season against the UP Lady Maroons at 1:00 P.M. The second match of the day will pit La Salle against UST.
