Happy Azkals Holidays: Amani Aguinaldo

At only 19 years of age, defender Amani Aguinaldo is quickly making a name for himself in his performances with the Philippine Azkals.
Already a staple in the national team's starting eleven, Aguinaldo had a solid outing during the Azkals stint in the AFF Suzuki Cup, most notably frustrating Thailand's Adisak Kraisorn with his defense. He got into Kraisorn's head enough that the Thai got phyisical with Aguinaldo, earning him a red card.
Now that the Azkals are on break, ABS-CBN Sports was able to catch up with the second year UP Diliman student and see what he's up to for the holidays.
What are your plans for the holidays?
For the holidays, I plan on taking a break, a vacation. I also plan to do some individual training sessions and review tapes of our previous games. But mostly spend time with my family.
Do you have any holiday wishes?
I hope we perform better as a team next year in the upcoming tournaments. As for myself, I hope to get better at what I'm doing.
What's your favorite thing about the holidays?
The time I can spend with my family. There's just a different feeling about the holidays, that time of the year.
