FEU's Melliza takes home Men's Football MVP honors

Fifth-year Tamaraw Jhan Jhan Melliza had one heck of a sendoff last Sunday at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

Not only did his FEU squad become back-to-back UAAP Men's Football Champions, but he also took home MVP honors.

Melliza had a huge role in FEU's title win against DLSU, as he scored the cruicial equalizer that ultimately sent the game into extra time, which then saw last season's MVP Paolo Bugas seal the match for FEU.

The rest of the UAAP Season 77 Men's Football awardees are:

Best Goalkeeper: Raphael De Guzman (DLSU)

Rookie of the Year: Julian Roxas (Ateneo)

Best Midfielder: Nathan Alquiros (DLSU)

Best Defender: Julian Clarino (UP)

Best Striker: Jinggoy Valmayor (UP)

Fair Play Award: Adamson University
