The Philippine Malditas ended their 2015 AFF Women’s Championship campaign with a 4-0 loss to Group B leaders Vietnam last Wednesay at the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

The home team went to work early as Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet converted off an Inna Palacios deflection in the third minute.

Less than ten minutes later, Vietnam doubled their advantage as Tran Thi Thuy Trang shot the ball through two Filipina defenders and into the back of the net in the 11th mark.

Minh Nguyet put the match out of reach for Vietnam even before the halftime mark, as she scored twice more, in the 28th and the 38th minutes to complete a hat-trick and make it 4-0.

After 90 minutes, the score remained the same, and Vietnam remained unbeaten in Group B to advance to the semifinals.

Also advancing into the semis is Myanmar, who finishes second in the group with six points.

The Malditas finish in third place with three points, while Malaysia sits at the bottom with no points earned.
