PFF announces 23-man Azkals squad for World Cup/Asian Cup Qualifiers, Schrock included in lineup

Phil Younghusband will be looking to lead the Azkals into the 2018 FIFA World Cup
The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) announced on their official website the 23-man team that will be representing the Philippines in the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2019 Asian Cup Qualifiers, starting this June.
Among the names on the list are Azkals vets such as Phil Younghusband, Rob Gier, and Misagh Bahadoran, and the returning Neil Etheridge, while notable omisisons are James Younghusband and Simon Greatiwch.
A handful of new names are also listed, including Kevin Ingreso, Luke Woodland, Iain Ramsay, and Stephan Palla.
An interesting development is the inclusion of Fil-German Stephan Schrock, who will be returning to the Azkals following a much publicized falling-out with head coach Thomas Dooley. According to Dooley, Schrock had since apologized to him, but had not made mention of wanting to return to the team.

The Philippines will be competing in Group H of the qualifiers, along with Uzbekistan, Bahrain. North Korea, and Yemen.
According to the PFF website, the players are expected to report for training camp this coming June 1. They kick off the qualifiers on June 11 when they face off against Bahrain at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan.
