At 27 years of age, Lionel Messi is considered as one of the best, if not the best footballer alive today, and over the weekend, the Argentinian wonder led his Barcelona club to the 2015 Copa del Rey title.

Messi scored two of the three Barca goals to defeat Atletico Bilbao.

Here’s how he scored the first one:

Let’s break that down for a bit, shall we?

As he breaks tries to break free on the left side of the pitch, three Bilbao defenders swarm Messi. Surely, they’ve got him contained. I mean, that’s THREE DEFENDERS.

Nope.

After a dazzling display of ball control, Messi choose one he wants to humiliate the most, and taps the ball right by the man in the middle, just enough for him recover it after breaking free.

One of the defenders tries to chase Messi down, but he was a tad too quick. No worries though, as three more guys are about to sto—too late.

By the time the three other guys got near, Messi had already rifled the ball towards the net, and not even the goalie could stop it.

So in essence, that was six guys that Messi scored on. Plus the goalie, so that’s seven.

Here’s a different angle, so you can maybe try to wrap your head around it.
