With just over two weeks left before the Philippine Azkals resume their FIFA World Cup qualifiers campaign against Uzbekistan, the squad is set to begin training camp this coming August 30.

The Pinoy squad will be going into camp with a few changes to their lineup, as they will be missing the services of injured former captain Rob Gier, as well as a few more additions and subtractions to the team.

Mainstay Misagh Bahadoran has been the star of the Azkals so far in the World Cup qualifiers, scoring in both wins against Bahrain and Yemen, and for him, it’s all about giving it their all when out on the pitch.

“If we play hard and we give our one hundred percent, we can do something, I think we can beat them.” Bahadoran told Dyan Castillejo of ABS-CBN News.

There won’t be much time off for the Azkals, as they will be heading to China after the Uzbekistan match to prepare for another qualifier match, this time against North Korea in their home field.
