Early into the second half, Wolfsburg had a 1-0 lead over Bayern Munich in their Bundesliga match, Tuesday.
Going into the second half of a football match with a 1-0 lead is good, but it is in no way insurmountable, and Wolsfsburg found that out the hard way.
In the 51st mark of the match, Bayern substitute Robert Lewandowski basically told his teammates to sit back and watch the show.
What happened next was nothing short of magical. In the next nine minutes, the Polish striker uncorked goal after goal after goal. Five straight goals, to be exact. FIVE.
In short, Lewandowski single-handedly brought his Bayern back and led them to a 5-1 win, all in nine minutes.
Check it out.
Lewandowski became the fastest player in Bundesliga history to complete a hat trick (22 SECONDS), the fastest to score five goals, and the first substitute to ever score five goals in a single match, so yeah, he had a pretty good day.
