We've been following the story of five-year-old Murtaza Ahmadi, you know the kid who had a Leo Messi jersey made out of plastice bag?

Well, our boy wonder has been having it good lately since his photo rocked the internet last January, he's been playing football with the Afghan Football Federation with his very own Barcelona shirt.

Now, Messi finally sent Murtaza a signed Argentina shirt, the inspiration to the whole plastic bag jersey he used to wear.

UNICEF Afghanistan shared some photos.

 

As of today, Murtaza Ahmadi can proudly show off the new signed jerseys and a football he received from UNICEF Goodwill...

"I love Messi and my shirt says Messi loves me," said Ahmadi, according to UNICEF Afghanistan's Facebook post.

Messi is a goodwill ambassador for the Unicef.

The AFF has been working on getting the two to meet each other, hopefully that happens very soon.
