Under-16 Pinays demolish Northern Mariana Islands in AFC Women's C'Ship Qualifiers

After beating India, 2-0 in their opening match, the Philippine Under-16 Women's national football team continued to strengthen their bid for a spot in the 2017 AFC Women's Championship after demolishing the Northern Mariana Islands, 13-0 in their Group B qualifiers match, Tuesday afternoon at the Luneng Football School in Weifang, China.
Denise Graellos scored consecutive goals in the first two minutes to score a quick brace and Tejanee Isulat led the way with a hattrick, while eight other ladies all scored goals of their own.
The Philippines currently sits a the top of Group B with two wins in two matches played, Their next match will be against South Korea on September 3.
Should the Pinays hold on to their spot at the top of Group B, they earn themselves a spot in the 2017 AFC Women's Championships, which will also take place in China.
