Ceres Negros FC held to a draw at home by Felda United
Ceres-Negros FC and Felda United FC battled to a scoreless draw in Bacolod

Bacolod-based Ceres Negros FC couldn't replicate their high-scoring win last week, as they were held to a scoreless draw by visiting Malaysian side Felda United FC, Wednesday evening at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod.

While the scoreline may read 0-0, there was no shortage in chances for both sides, but perhaps the closest shot came from Felda's Argentinian striker Lucas Cano, who had a chance to put the visitors ahead in the second half with a penalty after getting fouled inside the box.

Fortunately for the home team, Cano's shot was punched out by Ceres goalkeeper Roland Muller.

With the draw, Ceres Negros FC moves to one win and two draws in three matches played, good for five points. While Ceres and Hanoi FC both have five points, the Pinoy side still holds the top spot in Group G due to goal difference.

Ceres and Felda will lock horns once again in a couple of weeks' time, but this time the Pinoy side will be heading into enemy territory when they step into the Shah Alam stadium in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
