Azkals lose Christaens, Minegishi ahead of Tajikistan match
Iain Ramsay and the rest of the Philippine Azkals resume their AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign against Tajikistan

After a tough outing against China Wednesday night wherein they lost, 8-1, the Philippine Azkals head to Dushanbe, to resume their AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign against the Tajikistan men's national team, and they'll be doing so without a couple of players. 

Jeffrey Christiaens and Hikaru Minegishi both sustained injuries against China and will no longer be joining the team in Dushanbe. 

The following 21 players however, will be available for the Tajikistan match:

The Philippine Azkals will look to remain unbeaten in the third round of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers when they face Tajikistan on Tuesday, June 13th. 

Before their loss to China, they scored an important 4-1 win over Nepal at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium back in March. 

Currently, the Azkals sit at the top of Group F with one win and three points.
