If you're a top-tier professional athlete who can make a comfortable living off doing what you love, then you'd be hard-pressed to say that life isn't good.
If you're global football phenomenon Cristiano Ronaldo, you can say that life is exceptionally good.
At 32-years old, Portugal's football boy-wonder has a laundry list of accolades longer than your girlfriend's shopping list, including four Champions League trophies, and four Balon d'Or awards.
From a financial standpoint, according to Forbes.com, Ronaldo is the world's highest paid athlete and is number five on their Celebrity 100 list, earning $58-mil a year on salary and $35-mil more on endorsements.
Here's another tidbit of information that'll have you wishing you were handsome, shredded, and one of the best football players alive today as well.
According to a post by Bleacher Report, the football star makes around $400,000 per sponsored Instagram post.
$400,000. In Philippine pesos, thats a whopping 20-million.
IMAGINE getting paid 20-million-pesos just for posting a square photo on a social media application.
To be fair, Ronaldo has around a hundred-and-six million followers on his Instagram, and is the first male user and first athlete to reach that mark, so yeah, if you want to get your product out there, having CR7 endorse it is a no-brainer.
With what looks like an average of two to three million likes per post, $400-thousand per post seems like a fair price.
The only other athlete on that list? three-time NBA champion and four-time NBA MVP LeBron James, who makes $120,000 or a little over PHP 6 million per sponsored IG post.
So, yeah, life is pretty frickin' sweet if you're Cristiano Ronaldo.
