SEA Games football kicks off August 15th

The Philippine men's and women's football teams begin their 2017 Southeast Asian Games campaigns on Tuesday, August 15th in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The men's team, led by former UAAP MVPs Jarvey Gayoso and Daniel Gadia open things up against Cambodia at the MP Selayang Stadium at 8:45 PM.
The Philippines will be playing in Group B of the Group Stages, along with Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Timor-Leste.
Simultaneously, the women's team, led by the likes of Inna Palacios and Cam Rodriguez, take to the pitch against home team Malaysia, at the UiTm Stadium.
The Philippines will be one of only five teams competing in the SEA Games women's football tournament, along with Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.
