The Philippine men's national football team took a big leap in the most recent FIFA World Football Rankings, jumping to 123rd in the world as of September 14th, 2017.
This comes after the Philippines manage to pull out a 2-2 draw against Yemen in their AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign earlier this month.
Their previous ranking, 127th, tied their lowest ranking for 2017.
The 123 world ranking is their third-best ranking in history, with their best ranking, 120th in the world, coming back in 2015, while reaching 122nd in the world back in January and February of this year.
The Philippines remains the top-ranked football nation in Southeast Asia, with Vietnam coming in second at 130th in the world.
They also come in at 17th in Asia.
Germany regains their top spot in the world rankings, while Brazil comes in at second, followed by Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.
