Following a 2-2 draw in Bacolod, the Philippine Azkals enter foreign ground as they gear up to take on Yemen once again to kick off the second round of their 2019 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign.
The two teams will go head to head at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
The Azkals and Yemen first crossed paths just over a month ago at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod, with the home side equalizing twice to escape with a draw, the first 'blemish' of sorts on their third round record.
Brothers Phil and James Younghusband were responsible for the heroics in Bacolod, as the Azkals improved to seven points in three matches played.
Currently, the Pinoy side holds the lead in Group F with seven points on two wins and a draw, while Yemen stands close behind, with five points on one win and two draws.
A top-two seed finish will mean a historic Asian Cup qualification for the Philippines, who has never qualified for the tournament.
The Azkals will be playing without a handful of key players however, as Manny Ott, Misagh Bahadoran, Amani Aguinaldo, Luke Woodland, and Javier Patiño are expected to miss the rematch against Yemen.
Kickoff time will be at 11:00 PM, Manila Time.
