MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Brazil midfielder Fernandinho has signed a two-year contract extension with Manchester City, two days after the Premier League leaders tied Argentina defender Nicolas Otamendi to a new deal.

City says the 32-year-old Fernandinho's new contract runs through 2020. He joined the club from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013.

Otamendi signed a two-year extension on Wednesday that keeps him at City until 2022.
