The Philippine Azkals settled for a 1-1 draw against Oman, Saturday at the Gharafa SC in Doha, Qatar.
The Pinoy side found themselves in a bit of early trouble as Oman drew first blood, converting in the eighth minute courtesy of a strike from Raed Saleh.
The Azkals would get some unexpected assistance in the 38th minute, as Khalid Khalifa Al Hajri scored an own goal to even things up.
Neither side would be able to break the deadlock in the second half.
The Azkals now remain winless in their last three friendly matches, also figuring in a 1-1 draw against the Bahrain national team last September 6th before falling 3-2 to Bahraini football club Al-Hidd.
The match against Qatar proved to be a stern test for the Azkals as the continue to gear up for the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup which kicks off in November.
