Cadag spectacular once again as Philippine women's national football team improves to 3-0 in Olympic Qualifiers

Striker Shelah Cadag was on point once again as she scored another hat trick to help the Philippine Women's Football National Team defeat Mongolia, 5-1, Sunday evening to improve to 3-0 in the 2020 Women's Olympic Qualifier Tournament held in Hisor, Tajikistan.
Cadag struck twice early in the first half, converting in the eighth and fifteenth minutes to help send the Malditas to the halftime break with a 2-1 lead.
It was all Philippines in the second half, as Cam Rodriguez made her presence felt with a 60th minute conversion, while two-time UAAP MVP Kyla Inquig got on the board as well, making it a 5-1 advantage for the Filipina side in the 81st minute.
Cadag added the finishing touch in the 85th minute to complete the hat trick, her second of the tournament, and secure the 6-1 victory.
The Philippines currently has nine points on three wins, tied with group-leading Chinese Taipei, who are ahead on goal difference.
The Philippines and Chinese Taipei close out the Group Stage on November 13th in a battle for the top spot in Group A and automatic qualification into the second round of the tournament.
They will need a win to secure the top spot, while Chinese Taipei needs only a draw.
