The Philippine Men's National Football Team will try to make it two wins in as many outings when they take on Timor Leste in the Group Stage of the 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup, Saturday at the Kuala Lumpur Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Already off to a better start than their 2016 campaign, the Philippine Azkals banked on a late goal from Patrick Reichelt to slip past Singapore, 1-0 in their tournament opener at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod last November 13th.
A win against Timor-Leste could possibly put them at the top of the standings in Group A.
Currently, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore all have three points each.
Timor-Leste on the other hand find themselves at the bottom of the group with two losses in their first two outings. Rake tkuamoaginMns9kjh44qq4
They opened their campaign with w 7-0 drubbing at the hands of Thailand followed by a 3-1 loss to Indonesia.
The Azkals will need to secure at least a runner-up finish in the group to advance to the next round and make their return to the semifinals stage.
Kickoff will be at 8:00 PM, Manila time.
