Philippine Azkals begin preparation for WCQ with China camp

The Philippine Men's National Football team heads back to work as they prepare for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers tournament with a training camp and internatinonal friendly in China. 

The Azkals are coming off a lengthy break following their historic first-ever campaign in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. 

Now, the Pinoy side looks to reach even higher levels as they hope to qualify for football's most prestigious tournament which takes place in Qatar. 

The team is composed of

While foreign-based players such as

were also invited to participate in the training camp. 

Scott Cooper will serve as the team's senior coach. 

The Azkals will meet the China PR Men's National Football Team for an international friendly on Friday, June 7th at the Guangzhou Tianhe Stadium.
