The Philippine Men's National Football team returns to action as they face powerhouse China PR when the 2nd Round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup Joint Qualifiers continue Tuesday evening at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod.

The Azkals started their qualifiers campaign off on the wrong foot, absorbing a 2-5 loss to Syria, but were able to bounce back in a big way, picking up a dominant 4-1 victory over Guam just five days later.

Now, the Azkals take on the highest-ranked team in Group A, with hopes of pulling off a momentous upset that would keep them in the hunt for the top spot in the group.

With first-string goal keeper Neil Etheridge back in the lineup, the Azkals will get some much-needed defensive help as they face a high-powered China team.

The Azkals currently sit at third with one win and one loss for 3 points.

China PR on the other hand, is at the top of the group with 2 wins in as many matches for 6 points, followed by Syria, who has an identical standing.

Kick-off time in Panaad will be at 8:00 PM.
