Ceres-Negros, Kaya FC-Iloilo put 2020 AFC Cup campaigns on hold as AFC postpones competitions for March and April

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced that they will be postponing all matches and competitions scheduled for March and April until futher notice due to the current situation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected the world.
The announcement was delivered by the Philippine Football Federation on their official website, Thursday.
Affected by the postponement are the 2020 AFC Cup campaigns of two Filipino football clubs, Ceres-Negros FC and Kaya FC-Iloilo.
Ceres-Negros FC is currently at the top of Group G with 7 points off 2 wins and 1 draw. They were scheduled to face Indonesia's Bali United on April 14th and Cambodia's Phan Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC on April 29th.
Kaya FC-Iloilo, meanwhile, is in second place in Group H with 5 points off 1 win and 2 draws. They were scheduled to face Indonesia's PSM Makasaar on April 15th and Myanmar's Shan United on April 28th.
This development comes just roughly a week after it was announced that the AFC and FIFA have decided to postpone the scheduled World Cup and Asian Cup Joint Qualifiers matches scheduled in March and June.
