After two years of coming up short in the race for the UAAP General Championships, University of Santo Tomas will once again have a reason to roar as they are set to claim the UAAP Season 77 overall crown.
To commemorate their return to the top, UST celebrated Tiger Day last Saturday and urged members of the Thomasian community to represent their Tiger spirit by donning the color yellow or anything with tiger print.

UST bolstered their Season 77 campaign with titles in Women's Beach Volleyball, Men's Taekwondo, and Men's and Women's Judo in the first semester, while claiming a title in Men's Athletics in the second semester.
Early last Sunday, UST fell to University of the Philippines in the Softball semifinals and will finish at third place to guarantee ten more points to finish with 291 points. Former overall champions De La Salle will come in at second with 280 points, while UP will finish at third place with 239 points at the most (236, should they lose in the Softball Finals) and Ateneo will place fourth with 216 points.
Season 77 will mark UST's 40th General Championship.
