The Real MVP is about to get her own real movie.
The life of Kevin Durant's mother, Wanda Pratt, who earned the title "The Real MVP" after his son's MVP acceptance speech in 2014, is the inspiration for a new movie that is set to release this year.
The Lifetime original movie titled The Real MVP: The Wanda Pratt Story will "tell the true story of Pratt, a single mom who struggled and sacrificed to raise her two sons, Tony and Kevin" according to Deadline's Denise Petski.
Actress Cassandra Freeman and actor Daniel Bellomy will play the mother and son role while Nic Few will play the role of KD's brother.
The movie is will release on May 8, Mother's Day.
