Dato scoops silver medal in AUG swimming

Ateneo de Manila tanker Hannah Dato gave Team UAAP-Philippines its first silver medal in women's 50m. butterfly.
Tanker Hannah Dato capped Team UAAP-Philippines Day 4 campaign in the 18th ASEAN University Games in Singapore with the country’s first silver medal.
The Ateneo de Manila swimmer punched a silver medal for Team UAAP-Philippines in the women’s 50m. butterfly, clocking at 27.82 seconds behind Thailand’s Jenjira Srisaard (27.24 seconds).
Dato now has for medals including three bronzes under her belt.
The Palarong Pambansa product and back-to-back UAAP Most Valuable Player, finished third in the women’s 400m. individual medley, 100m. free style and 200m. butterfly in this biennial sport spectacle for student-athletes in the region.
Two years ago, Dato accounted for three of the country’s 10 gold medals in the Palembang, Indonesia edition. She also hauled two silver medals and a pair of bronze including one from 200m. butterfly.
